Cambodia Casinos

There is an interesting history to the Cambodia casinos that lie just over the border from next door Thailand, where gambling den gambling is banned. Eight gambling halls are based in a generally tiny space in the municipality of Poipet in Cambodia. This conclave of Cambodia gambling dens is in an excellent spot, a 3 to 4 hour drive from Bangkok and Macao, the two most popular wagering locations in Asia. Cambodia gambling dens do a huge business with Thai workers and guests from Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, with only very few Westerners. The phenomenal capital acquired from the casinos ranges from $7.5 million to more than twelve and a half million dollars, and there are a few controls requirements for gambling den ownership. Ownership is required to be largely Thai; still, financing sources are vague. The borders are ceremoniously open from 09:00 to 17:00, and even though visas are apparently required to pass, there are ways around this, as is accurate of most borders.

The 1st Cambodia gambling halls premiered in Phnom Penh in the mid nineties, but were required to close in the late nineties, leaving just one casino in the capital, the Naga Resort. The Naga, a stationary bateau gambling hall, highlights one hundred and fifty one armed bandits and sixty tables. The Naga casino never closes with 42 tables of mini-baccarat, four tables of vingt-et-un, 10 of roulette, two of Caribbean Stud Poker, and a single table each of Pai-Gow and Tai-Sai.

The first gambling den in Poipet, the Holiday Palace, opened in the late nineties and the Golden Crown soon opened. There are 150 slot machines and five tables at the Golden Crown and 104 slots and 68 gaming tables at the Holiday Palace. The newest Holiday Palace Casino and Resort highlights 300 slots and seventy table games and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has 166 one armed bandits and 96 table games, including eighty seven baccarat chemin de fer (the most popular game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Additionally, there is the Casino Tropicana, with one hundred and thirty five slot machine games and 66 of the familiar table games, as well as one table of Casino Stud Poker. An additional of the eight casinos in Poipet, again in a hotel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six slots and 97 games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in a comprehensive resort and hotel building that highlights many amenities accompanying the gambling hall, which houses ten thousand square feet of 130 slot machine games and eighty eight table games.
